The History

The history of the “Corazziere” is linked to Giuseppe CAMESASCA, a hatter in Monza (close to Milan) who decided to leave its activity and become a Carabiniere. Due to its extraordinary height, he joined the militia of the Royal Carabinieri, the so called “Corazzieri”.

He was therefore sent to the Quirinale palace to serve His Majesty, King Vittorio Emanuele III, who commended him solemnly for foiling an attempt to the royal couple close to the Pantheon, in Rome.

Nowadays, the property is managed by Giuseppe’s son, Arnaldo, who proudly runs the business according to the traditions of Brianza with the help of a selected and loyal team.
