Our territory is one of the richest for its wildlife, beautiful landscapes and age-old trees surrounded, during springtime, by thousands of coloured and perfumed flowers.
When talking about our territory from our point of view, mentioning the Park “Valle Lambro” is a “must”: there you can find kilometres of tracks where you can walk, bike ride and horse ride.
Our park extends on the shores of river Lambro, enriching the surrounding green areas and giving a real sense of peace with its slow flowing.
Besides enjoying an enchanting country atmosphere, this hotel gives you something more: an old mill located nearby and abandoned for a very long time will soon be restored and qualified as the Museums of Mills and ancient jobs and will open to schools to visitors coming either from the area or from outside.
For the lucky guests of the new hotel, this place will represent a cultural destination as well as an original place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink together with tasty appetizers cooked according to the “Camesasca” tradition and with local products.
Not very far from our properties m the Baggero Natural oasis with two small lakes, ideal scenario for taking photos and favourite destination for the environmentalists.
We proudly boast our park (locally called “Camp Marz”) as location for the famous movie ALLOSANFANT shot by the Taviani brothers in 1974, starring Marcello Mastroianni. This movie by Paolo & Vittorio Taviani led to the beginning of their partnership with Ennio Morricone and was presented during the “Quinzaine des Réalisateurs” at the Cannes Festival in 1975.
As you can see, this territory rich in beautiful landscapes is also rich in history and culture and leads us to past times which should never be forgotten. The “Mill Museum” has been conceived with this purpose.
Don’t go too far! This wonders are waiting for you. And so do we.
